Sherry Davey
Sherry Davey is a mom and professional comedian and writer. She has two daughters aged 8 & 14. She and her husband recently adopted their teenage daughter. Sherry is the ultimate bi-coastal lady. She was born in the United States but raised in England. For years her family went back and forth between the two countries, but her parents always made sure she saw American dentists regularly. Sherry’s comedic style was influenced mostly by her grandfather, Maxwell Lapham, who was a stand up comic and night club performer in London during the 1940’s and 50’s. Sherry was seen most recently on Nick At Nite's “Search For The Funniest Mom In America” Seasons 1 & 2. She has regularly appeared on Comedy Central’s “Tough Crowd With Colin Quinn” and “Premium Blend“. Sherry’s most recent television appearances include Tru TV and NBC’s “The Today Show”. Sherry was recently named one of the Hollywood Reporter’s “Magnificent Seven” and voted one of the "Top 10 Comedians In NYC" by the Improper Magazine. Sherry is the official Funny Mom at NBC's iVillage website Momtourage.com. Sherry is also a featured columnist in the new nationally distributed magazine : HyBrid Mom, see your local news stands and Barnes & Nobles. Sherry recently became the spokes person for Tommee Tippee Baby Products in the United States. Sherry has performed two years in a row at the Amman Stand Up Comedy Festival in Amman, Jordan.
