New Year's Resolutions For Parents Of Teenagers

For all of us parents of teens, here are some New Year's resolutions that I think you’ll enjoy and relate to:

New Year's Resolution #1: I promise to continue having a computer specialist reinstall all the parental controls you keep over riding. I appreciate you finding free porn as it's a tough economy but really, if the feds ever saw my computer.....oy;

New Year's Resolution #2: I will continue to ride you’re a$$ about everything. No matter how much you roll your eyeballs at me;

New Year's Resolution #3: Every time you talk back I will donate one dollar to Feed The Children. If all parents of teens did this we could cure world hunger in less than one week;

New Year's Resolution #4: I will stop reminding you to brush your teeth and use deodorant in the new year because to me it’s birth control. I resolve to make you practice safe hygiene;

New Year's Resolution #5: Every time you don’t follow through on chores or homework, I will make you go for a five mile walk with me. This way we will both get in shape and I can torture you a little;

New Year's Resolution #6: Every time you threaten to move out the minute you turn 16, I promise to let you go now. Why should I stand in the way of your freedom??
