On Sept 6 2001, my husband and I found out we were expecting twins(I had been telling him for months but I guess he had to see it to believe it). In Nov I was stuck on bed rest. During all my visits(many, many, many visits) my Dr. was funny and thought I was really relaxed for a new mom about to have twins, I'd make jokes and she'd take pictures. Usually I would bring the hand held game of battleship and play it during my visits. In Dec I was ready to have them but they made me wait until the 12th before they let me off bed rest. it was then at that visit I told my Dr. that I would see her Sat. and deliver the boys. She told me that was when the Hospital was having their Christmas party. I said not to worry, I would be done before noon. Sat. Dec. 15 @ 630 in the morning she was paged, by 730 she was there laughing and telling me she knew it was me and @ 1122 my first was delivered immediately peed on her, and @ 1135 my second was delivered and tried to pull her shirt down. (yes, I delivered vaginally). When I saw the time I said, "I told you I'd be done." She just shook her head and laughed. With my daughter 21 months later I walked down the hall in the maternity ward, with a big ol' smile and said "I'm ready for my drugs." they said they needed to make sure I was in labor. This is about 1210am and @ 100 they finally checked my cervix, @102 they said I'm too far along, and the next hour they all taght me Lamaze, and breathing techniques, @209 am on Sep 12 2003, my daughter arrived, and again I said, "I told you I was in labor." With my youngest, yeah I know you think I'm crazy, she decided to be a week late, would not come out, so my water was broke and 55 min later she comes out during the opening drive of the Seahawks opening game (which we won) and the reddest hair you've ever seen. I said to my husband, "I told you I had red hair as a baby.) We were very shocked, our older three take after him he is native american and our little red took after me. Very shocked, we just looked at each other and wondered where she came from, thank God she has his face like her siblings or I guess he would have been wondering. Thats all I got, enjoy.
