I had my first child, Ayden Daniel, on November 18, 2008. I was 3 days past my due date and for the previous 2 weeks my doctor was worried that he would have to do a c-section because Ayden just would not drop. The day prior to my induction I went to the doctor and he confirmed that Ayden had dropped and we were ready to go. On Novemeber 18th I was in labor for 16 hours. I started the morning off doing great. I breathed my way through 7 hours of contractions. Then I got the epidural. At 8pm I started pushing and he would not move into the birth canal and after 45mins of that the doctor decided to do a C-section. Finally at 9:30 that night I had my little man. Then they weighed him 8lbs 13ozs. I could not believe that he weighed that much because my husband and I both are small and were small when we were born. Good thing about all of that was I was back down to my prepregnancy weight by the 6th week.
