I have recently lost a good deal of weight and plan to lose more with a very simple solution. I simply eat less. I've been enjoying all the foods I normally eat - just less of it. I also track what I eat so that I know I'm only getting about 1200 calories a day. When I eat less, my body seems to be craving more vegetables and things that are better for me.

This means that I can eat what others in my house are eating and makes it very convenient and affordable. One of my weaknesses has been dill pickles - only about 10 calories per pickle and very filling. But, I can also have my mini ice cream sandwich most nights for dessert - only 110 calories (and some days, if I haven't gotten up to my 1200 count, I have two. But, sshhh, that's a secret!)
