My son's name is Paxton Thomas. My husband and I both liked names with the letter "X". Pax is Latin for "peace," but I wanted the name to have a nickname and I stumbled across "Paxton" doing a Google search and loved it. My best friend's dad was killed by a drunk driver. Her dad was like a dad to me growing up and after he was killed my Dad started acting like one and both are named Thomas.
