The kitchen cupboard locks were not childproofed, so one day my three-year-old son and two-year-old daughter opened the one containing two large canisters of flour and tipped the whole contents over themselves and then all over the kitchen floor.

I cleaned them up and took them for a walk, leaving the whole mess behind to "show" my husband that the cupboard needed a lock. He brought a business associate home for lunch and was confronted by a "snowstorm." How embarrassing!
