Ice Cream Flowerpots

by Eve Goldman on June 03, 2010

Serves: 4 people

Ingredients:

Four 3-inch terra-cotta flower pots

15 Oreo or chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed to look like dirt

1 pint of chocolate ice cream

4 plastic flowers or gummy worms

Directions:

1. A few hours before you begin, thoroughly wash the terra-cotta pots and let them dry.

2. Soften the ice cream in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

3. Place a half-inch of crushed cookies at the bottom of each pot. Fill the pots almost to the top with ice cream.

4. Fill up the rest of the pots with a generous layer of crushed cookies, and place them back into the freezer.

5. Once they are frozen, poke a hole in the middle of each dessert with a metal skewer and insert a plastic flower or gummy worm.
